Vitamin B is a complex vitamin having 8 B vitamins. They are B1(thiamine), B2(riboflavin), B3(niacin), B5(pantothenic acid), B6(pryidoxine), B7(biotin), B9(folate), B12(colbalamin).
Each vitamin plays a specific role in our body but generally speaking B vitamins convert the food we eat into energy, create new blood cells, maintain healthy skin and brain cells, and ensure our cells function properly.
Good foods to eat for your B vitamins are: beef liver, clams and salmon (best sources), milk and dairy products, leafy green vegetables, turkey, chicken, tuna, bananas, peas, fortified cereals, brown rice, carrots, shrimp, lean meats, enriched breads, and nuts.
